Women's World Cup

I Iwould like to say CONGRATULATIONS to German Women's National Team for winning the 2007 Women's World Cup. They set a number of records, including "Being the only Team to Win the World Cup two times in a row---"back to back". It is an accomplishment even the men's team find great diffuculty achieving.

Brigit Prinz is definitely one of the best strikers..if not the best in the world...and has been for a while..despite all the CRAP about Abby Wambach being the best. She currently holds the record for most goals in the Women's World Cup!

Big up to Garafreicas, Lingor and Smisek!

On the other hand....CONGRATS TO THE BRAZIL WOMEN'S NATIONAL TEAM!!!.

They reached to the World Cup finals despite many odds----They had not played together since 2005, they are given he same respect as the male footballers in Brazil, and conzequently the country does not invest enough money into developing Women;s Football in Brazil. (similar to Trinidad and Tobago)---totally different to mindset and investments in Germany.

However, big up to MARTA(winner of the golden boot at the 2007 world cup), CRISTIANE, DANIELA, FORMIGA, RENATA COSTA, MAYCON, ALINE, ELAINE, ESTRE, TANIA, SIMONE!!!!

I HOPE YALL FELLAS WATCHED THE WOMEN'S WORLD CUP!

Andell This is for you

Chelsea Confirm Mourinho Departure Chelsea have confirmed reports that they've unexpectedly parted company with manager Jose Mourinho after a crisis meeting this evening.

A brief statement on the Blues' official website, read: "Chelsea Football Club and José Mourinho have agreed to part company today (Thursday) by mutual consent."
Mourinho is reported to have text messaged five senior players this evening to tell them that he is leaving the Blues, who could only draw at home with Rosenborg in their opening Champions League tie on Tuesday.
The set-back followed disappointing results in the Premiership against both Aston Villa and Blackburn, results that had left Mourinho visably on edge.
The Portuguese coach was said to have fallen out with owner Roman Abramovich last season, although the dispute was believed to be behind the pair. However, poor form plus difficulties with star names Andriy Shevchenko and Michael Ballack appear to have put further strain on their relationship.
The 'Special One' still had three years left on a contract, worth a staggering £6.5m a year, but Abramovich is believed to be prepared pay a huge slice of that in order to end their relationship.
Mourinho arrived at Chelsea having won the Champions League with Porto in 2004 and he continued his success with back-to-back Premiership titles. However, last season Manchester United beat the Blues to the league crown, although they did manage to lift both domestic cups.
Reports have immediately linked Sevilla boss Juande Ramos with the job and ironically the Spaniard is already in London having seen his side lose 3-0 to Arsenal in their Champions League encounter this evening.
It seems more than likely that current Russia coach Guus Hiddink will also be considered among the frontrunners for the job.

Ronalda

Hi everyone. It's been while. But i would like to start off and by saying congratulations to Real Madrid for winning the Spanish Primera Title. FIRE FOR BARCELONA!!. (sorry al). Second of all, and even more important...CONGRATUALTIONS TO KAKA AND AC MILAN for winning Champions League i thoroughly enjoyed that game.

Ronaldo......i love you!!!!.

Lol..continuing.

The under 21 final between Holland and Serbia was one of the most eciting games i have seen this year. Truly entertaining. Holland has some good players. Example Drenthe.

CONGRULATIONS ALSO TO BRAZIL's "second team" FOR CRUSHING ARGENTINA TO THE GROUND. (sorry Andre). Argentina had ll their star and could not even score one goal.

Lastly.........ILOVE THE PICURES OF RONALDO. KEPP PUTTING MORE......LOL.

He is still my fav player.

Breaking news....Chivu for sale on Ebay !

Roma defender Cristian Chivu has been put up for sale on the internet by a supporter frustrated with his never-ending transfer saga.

The Romanian has been heavily linked with a summer move after the Giallorossi failed to meet his wage demands, with Barcelona, Real Madrid and Inter all keen on securing his services.

Los 4 Fantasticos

In an outer space adventure...
They were hit by cosmic rays...
To be the best footballers forever (other than Baggio...)
In the most Fantastic Way

No need to fear, they're here
Just call for 4....Fantastic Four

Oh, and two very funny quotes that let you know its transfer season again:

"I'd rather chew on broken glass than ever see Lampard in a Juve shirt..." - irate Juve fan

"I think all the other clubs, even if they like him, are scared that there must be something wrong with you if you are young, free, and argentinian, yet inter still doesn't want you.."
- a reference to Javier Saviola's current predicament

Transfer Season has begun...

I'm pretty sure that you guys are following the transfer season with earnest to see just what moves your specific sides are making, especially you Colin since Liverpool are constantly the epitome of mediocrity (yes...i still think that that victory against Milan was a fluke). The purpose of the post however is just to say damn...at the double swoop Manchester just made in the transfer market with the acquisition of Nani and Anderson, not to mention already getting Hargreaves. As much as i hate Man U, i must say that Fergie came tru this summer. I have my doubts about Anderson, because he may be another veron, but we can only know when he does play. Nani, is the next Cristiano and if he is nurtured like Ronaldo then Man U might have a gem on their hands. I can only hope that AC and Barca strengthen up this summer and make some quality purchases. Liverpool…keep buying players of the quality of Bellamy…i’m sure you will reach your target of fourth place every year…lol.

Who knew!!!

Who knew that the fat lady could sing Opera, Soprano, Alternative rock, Soca and the occasional dancehall alongside Elephant Man, but she sang it all today. As well she had to to put and end to all the old talk and propoganda being spread by a certain liverpool fan. Its all curtains now. Enjoy your vacation LFC. Its over now, SLEEEEEEEP, SLEEEEEEEP.

My Finals Experience

I am here watching this appalling showing by Liverpool in this Champions' League final. Where is the defence. It is the 87th minute and nothing from them. Up until this point Pennant has been the star of that shit team. But A A, they pulled one back. A very meaningless consolation. Colin I am sorry, but you have to understand that your team are perennial losers, always battling for 4th in the league and some poor showing at the European stage. Yes they defeated Barca, but what else have they done? Well it's the 93rd minute and I'm wondering if the Liverpool fire has been extinguished for good. Final whistle. Hard luck Colin and all Liverpool fans. It was a well fought match, but say what. FUCK LIVERPOOL. lol

Real's Real Resurgence!

I hope everyone got an opportunity to see the Real Madrid vs Espanyol match today at the Bernabeau. Truly a classic affair and one for the ages as Real exhibits a never die attitude and comes back from 1-3 down to win 4-3 on all-round brilliant play -- by both sides. Now Barcelona has to respond especially after their devastating collapse against Getafe in the Copa del Rey. Who is gonna put money on Barcelona winning the league this season in light of Real's, and Capello's vindication...? Stay tuned, Al might be crying in a few weeks.

Interesting Final

Hi guys.

A great final is upon us and I am wishing luck to both teams. I have respect for both. However, wherever a certain Brazillian goes my heart follows, so I will leave it at that.

And oh yeah!!!!

FUCK ANFIELD!!!!!!!!

Ballkritikz

Well, well, well well. It is so fitting that the blogs website is ballkritikz.blogspot, as if to revere a one Clarence 'The Critics Silencer' Seedorf (Henforth refered to as C.S). To you Mr. lfcluva (formerly known as man -boy luva association) I GUARANTEE you that we will be a repeat of 2005. Yeah!!! Not only am I drinking Haterade, but I also buy in bulk to sell in the bakery. Colin feel free to admit it. The Rossoneri in fine form of late they not going to let LFC win. Come on, admit it. You know it, the blog know it, England know it.
Well done Milan, well done Kaka, well done C.S. Look out for them in a few weeks, they will be the ones hitting the rasping drives ito the back of your onion bag.

And oh yeah!!!

Oh yeah, my cry all season long has been"Whatever you have done, FUCK DAT SHIT!!Everyone has to come to Anfield!!"

THE "SPECIAL ONE"

Pardon me for any ill feelings that may be left on any individuals at the conclusion of this post. The introduction of this post is simply to vent a few feelings that I may have at the state of European Football. I would first like to recognize the Herculean efforts put forward by the entire Liverpool F.C. players, coaches, and supporters all across the world. We showed without a doubt that we have what it takes to compete on the grandest of stages in European football. Referring the headline of my post Jose Mourinho has shown that he is indeed the "special one" as whenever he faces Liverpool in this competition, and indeed any knockout competition his tactics seem retarded or to be politically correct "special" when facing Rafa Benitez. Who in the hell would place Robben and Geremi to take such important kicks. Looking at the situation though, he had little choice as no one from his team looked quite capable. In the end my team triumphed which is what I am concerned with the most. We do not care to dwell on the failures of others. We look forward to knowing who our opponents will be in this year’s final so as to begin our preparations. To me it doesn’t matter who we face, I have no preference. All I ask again is that my team goes out a makes a game of it which is what has lead us to the finals so far. We are unafraid, resolute, and indefatigable. All these attributes we will bring to Athens. Will your team be there?

Playing Lottery

Normally if someone tells me I have a 3 to 1 chance of winning the lottery, I would be the first one in the gas station buying four lottery tickets. However betting that one of the three english teams in the Champions league semis is taking the crown home is something i am not going to do. I hope that no one took my silence on the blog as a sign of lack of faith in Milan, it is just that whenever I speak things tend to go wrong. But I have to speak up now because I see they have men selling Haterade(TM) wholesale on the blog.
Congrats inter on a great season. You came out with less losses in Serie A than Juventus had in Serie B. Hope to see you up there next year Larry. Hope I dont jinx my team but it looks like the season is turning out alot better that we initially thought. Well done.

Once again Congrats Inter. We will see you next year.

to all

this is dedicated to all the haterade drinkers, article and forum analyzers, media, skeptics and detractors..

kiss my ass.

Veron v Riquleme

for those who don't follow Argentina football, this is a big game...
estudiantes won the league last season by beating Boca (who were 2nd) in the last game of the season...

veron shined big time in that game and has been a gem in the midfield since returning to argentina last year...

this year, however, boca have been able to get their legend and idol, Juan Roman Riquleme, on loan from Villareal...
this game was massive as it put 2 of argentina's greatest midfielders against each other..

the usual hjsplit deal..

Quite a week of football...and weekend!

Irrespective of which team won or lost, the week of matches were just scintillating. Even after the Milan Derby there was the German "derby" between a resurgent Bayern Munich and a Kloser-less Berthe Bremen and that game was equally hot -- ending in a 1-1 draw. After all is said and done, the winner was the fans(zealots too)!!

Screw the pretenders lets talk about the contenders!!

Some tasty fucking matches are in store for the next round of the champions league, with Chelsea drawing Valencia, Bayern Munich drawing AC Milan, Roma meeting Manchester United, and Liverpool running into Arsenal's conquerors PSV. The draw was missing some so called "big clubs" as they were knocked the fuck out by better teams filling me with schadenfreude... Anyways, at the beginning of the tourney I predicted that an English club would win the champions league, I recall Garvin's theory that this competition is cyclical, and that at times teams from one country would win the majority of times in a decade. In the 90's it was clearly Italian teams, and Spanish teams had a short stint with Madrid winning three titles in the space of 5 years and Valencia coming close in between. It's now time for the English clubs as Liverpool won it 2 years ago, Arsenal came agonizingly close to winning it last year and now three strong English teams are in the quarter- finals and the draw seems kind to them. On paper all three should advance, but as you all know in football anything could happen...just look Barca won their second European Cup/Champions league trophy since they were founded...amazing

Zahn is Back

What's going on people? I say hello to the old guys and the newbies. I know I have been away for a while but I am back now. Congrats to Liverpool and AC supporters. Good games. Good Juve clip Garvin, we all see that Alex still has it.

This, rightly, belongs here!

Like Nerazzuri said a big welcome to the Brazilian Carlos and a big welcome also to the Ghanaian Jonathan "kobbyj" Acheampong formerly of Claflin - Kevin should know him. So the youthful, exuberant and overzealous Trinis please conduct urself in the presence of non-Trinis.

Welcome and this weekend's fixtures

I would like to take the opportunity to welcome carlos "samba magia" to the blog..

this weekend is a heated one as we have the two biggest derbies in the world..

on saturday, we have Barca v Madrid @ 3pm my time (4pm your time)..
this game needs no introduction but Barca will be looking for redemption after being slapped by Madrid in the first leg of this fixture this season...

on sunday morning, we have the HUGE milan derby...it will be the return of the once san siro king, r9...will he booed by Inter fans?? we will see...on one hand, we have Inter, who have dominated the serie A but had a dismal, disgusting champions league display and exit....on the other hand, we have milan, with a dismal serie A but a very promising champions league....after being back-hand slapped by Inter in the first leg, can AC Milan seek redemption?

we shall see :)

stay tuned to the blog as the games WILL be posted...
you all know the deal by now....each half will be posted about 10 min after the half is done...

10R's response to critics(highlights minus goals)

It's MATHEMATICS!

Allow me to introduce some elementary mathematics here. Thanks to the Nerazzuri guy, aka ballkritikz archivist, we can now put R9's 5 year( 4 and change actually) stint @ Real into perspective and by that I mean that this guy scored 1 goal every 1.59 games. All calculations used come from this link and are based solely on domestic goal tally. I re-iterate below(goals:games)

  1. Cruzeiro 1:1.17

  2. PSV 1:1.10

  3. Barca 1:1.09

  4. Inter 1:1.39

  5. Real 1:1.42

  6. AC 1:1

  7. Brazil 1:1.56

Dedication to the original R - R9

i saw this on youtube and i thought it was real wicked...
it was a dedication to R9 at Real Madrid...
despite all the man injuries, his record at Madrid is flickin ridiculous: 102 goals in 152 games = madness

i know shadeeka is a big ronaldo groupie, so i know u will real like it
shadeeka, watch how accurate d man left foot is....jeez.

capello sell this man for higuain??
hahahahaha

Ronaldinho, undaunted, REMOVES shirt @ end of 3-0 thrashing of Bilbao!!!

Well, well, weeel and com again...de man nah care him take off him shirt after much brilliant play on his part. However, those one-on-ones with the keeper he threw away cannot be repeated next week in the 'ALCAZAR' that is Anfield.

Barcelona will most definitely prove their mettle and redeem themselves if they win both games against second place Sevilla @ Seville, next Sunday, and, of course, @ Anfield next Wednesday. But I have no doubt...Barcelona will prevail.

By the way, can I speak of IRONY for a sec...the great irony that the Nerazzuri's great fortune this season is in no small part to Juventus's great misfortuune (which was brought on by themselves)...thank god for Zlatan!

Yours truly,
ya godfather.

Barcelona 1-2 Liverpool: Bad boys on target

YES THE BAD BOYS OF EUROPEAN FOOTBALL, ARE IN SPLENDID FUCKING FORM!!!!!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!! I will forever, laugh and remember the faces of the Barca fans on this day as they realized that their team is no match for any true European giant, and probably the biggest of them all at that, LIVERPOOL FC. At the beginning of this school year I stated that I wouldn't talk about my team's success, as when they fail that would only give my opponents their ammunition, but this is just too good to pass up. Barcelona is SHIT, and i dare any true Barcelona fan to prove me wrong. Once again Rijkaard got it wrong when dealing with a master tactician. My personal belief is that as a coach he never really had to struggle with an under performing team or a team that didn't have a myriad of talent, hence learning how to adapt and adjust to get the best out of his squad. I can't put into words how much I anticipate the return leg. Either way it should be pleasing to me. If my team goes out to defend, we advance, if Barca scores, we will come out to play, and it should be a pulsating affair....and oh yes, one small note, just in case it slipped you the return leg is at the fucking alcazar of annihilation, the bastion , the fortress, the fucking citadel known as Anfield . PS. I'm sorry but somebody had to smash Barcelona, it was just Liverpool who had to do it.

I look forward to Inter's play on the resumption of Champion's League -- the detractors are just waiting for the slightest faulter and after such stunning play there really shouldn't be any.

Greetings from the San Siro

Hi everyone. I bring greetings from Ronaldo and AC Milan. Yes it's true AC is now my new team. I mean i still support Real, but i think Fabio Capello needs to go back to Juventus to fix more games. He had to beg Beckham to come back to play a couple more games.

But anyway, just to agree with what Garvin said, Barcelona need to watch out because real is not far behind.

WHAT DE FUCK IS GOIN ON WIT ETO'O AND BARCA???

Can anyone of you barca fanatics tell me what the fuck is goin on??? Seems like egos are getting the best of some pretty important people in your camp. You all need to straighten things up because Madrid are not too far behind, and the season still has some way to go. I still believe Barcelona can be pipped if they are not too careful, and Champions League is a lost cause, because they are facing probably the best team in Europe right now ....Liverpool FC. So please do something pretty quick or get knocked the fuck out!!!!

Internazionale in crushing form

i realize that some of you doh wanna accept the fact that Inter has been dominating the football scene....
and did this without the services of important players like cambiasso and adriano..

now, they are back.
adriano is in full form and in my opinion, adriano and zlatan has to be the deadliest strike force out there....

i posted awhile back a youtube of an exquisite chip shot from adriano after a ridiculous string of once touch plays from Inter...

for those who doubt adriano's return to form, he has now scored 4 goals in the last 5 serie a matches, 1 goal in 1 coppa italia and 2 goals in a friendly against bahrain..

this one is for the ac milan fans :P

i know it hurts....HAHAHAHA

Milan tries everything to win.

Reading the football news this morning and I came across an article where it read 'Milan want Ronaldo'. Yes, Milan is trying to get Ronaldo aka 'Fat Fucking Pork' to join their squad. Wow! Come on now Milan, Ronaldo??? Plus they trying to get him for free. Hahahaha, Fat Pork aint even worth a Power Mint price. Well, if he agrees to come from the shop in Madrid and go in the shop in Milan, lets see if he will help Milan come out of the huge slump that they were in last year. Oh yeah, has anyone found the Milan supporters? It has been months since we have heard anything from them. I saw a 300 pounder one over the xmas and he was not able to shed much light on Milan's poor performance. I would like any Milan supporter to tell me their views on Ronaldo coming to Milan.
